How picks are graded
How a pick is made
The same three steps for every game, from the first line to kickoff.

The inputs
Schedules, live scores, NFL injury reports and the weather, plus the spread, total and moneyline at six sportsbooks, checked every 15 minutes.

The read
An AI model works through the matchup and the late news, then projects the final score.
- 03
The grade
The projection becomes a chance of winning at every book's line. We compare it with what each price needs and keep the best number. That edge sets the grade, which follows the lines until kickoff and then locks.
Every pick is graded by its edge
Edge is how much more often we expect a pick to win than its price needs it to, in percentage points. The bigger the edge, the higher the grade and the bigger the stake.

Edge, in practice
At −110 a pick has to win 52.4% of the time to break even. If we make it 58%, the edge is 5.6 points: a Gold pick.
Stakes in units
A unit is your normal bet. Platinum calls for three units, Bronze for half of one.
A built-in check
An edge above 15 points usually means the model has missed something, so the pick is capped at Gold and flagged for review.
Settled after the final whistle
When a game goes final, every published pick is marked a win, loss or push. Each grade keeps its all-time record in the app, so you can see how Platinum is doing next to Bronze.
